For this latest edition of The Shortlist, we speak to Bulgarian techno producer KiNK, who's phantasmagoric DJ sets saw him win Resident Advisor's favourite live electronic artist of 2016.

It’s hard to believe that we’re still lamenting a lack of representation in the music and festival industry today. As Abby Lowe discovers, CC:DISCO! is out to change that.

Abby is a writer, editor and producer with over a decade’s worth of experience in the creative industries and a portmanteau of work spanning print, online and film.
She’s been based in London, Berlin and Ibiza; the latter where she worked as assistant editor for the island’s iconic Pacha Magazine, and later, as the music editor for Ibiza Spotlight. She is currently the Ibiza expert for Telegraph Travel.
As a freelancer, bylines include the Independent, Suitcase, Condé Nast Traveller, Beatport, Mixmag, WhyNow and others, covering interviews, music, travel, film, cultural analysis, sustainability, social issues, design, and the great outdoors. She favours conversation-worthy content over pigeonholes.
Abby is also one half of creative agency, Strange Company, which specialises in the creation of short films, documentaries and tailored brand content. As producer and presenter, she’s worked with artists including Jamie Jones and Nightmares on Wax, for climate action charity Possible, and for Kala festival, which hosted the first ever international music event on Albanian soil.
