Based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis, Bones & All also stars Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Chloë Sevigny, Jessica Harper, and David Gordon Green. It premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival earlier this month, where it won Silver Lion for best direction. It has been described as a “an achingly tender and thoughtful coming-of-age romance between a pair of cannibals with an insatiable need to devour flesh.” Bones & All sees Guadagnino reunite with Chalamet for the first time since the acclaimed Call Me By Your Name. The other star of that film, Armie Hammer, has since been accused of cannibalism and sexual assault. The film is scheduled for release on November 23, 2022 in the United States by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (through United Artists Releasing) and elsewhere by Warner Bros. Pictures, with the exception of Italy, where it will be distributed by Vision Distribution.
