Cara Delevingne has announced her debut double single ‘I Forgot’ and ‘Out of My Head’, due 29th May via Warner Music, alongside an 11-date tour across Europe and North America.
Performing under the mononym Cara, the 33-year-old model and actress has been orbiting music for years: collaborations with St. Vincent, Fiona Apple and Machine Gun Kelly, a development deal with Simon Fuller at 16, a Pharrell Williams session for a Chanel film in 2014, and a West End run as Sally Bowles in Cabaret.
This is the first time it has arrived as a committed solo project, and the context behind it matters. Delevingne has linked the creative shift to sobriety, which she began in 2022 after a stint in rehab. “Ever since sobriety came into my life, I’ve been changing in such a big way over the last couple of years,” she has said. “I felt more like a kid than I’ve ever felt in the best way possible.”
From what she has shared so far, the sound leans electro-rock: guitar-led, raw around the edges and noticeably more stripped back than the world she is usually associated with. Both singles are described as personal reflections of recent years. “Music has forever been my biggest fear and my greatest love,” Delevingne has said. “‘I Forgot’ and ‘Out of My Head’ are the first peek inside my stream of consciousness over the last few years.”
The tour opens on 1st June in Berlin before moving through Barcelona, where she is also on the Primavera Sound 2026 lineup, and on to London, Paris, Los Angeles and Brooklyn. The London dates are two nights at 26 Leake Street on 7th and 8th June. The choice of small, close-room venues is deliberate.
