The Prodigy have announced a major UK and Ireland arena tour for April 2026, with techno titan Carl Cox joining as special guest.
The tour promises an all-night onslaught, with Cox opening each evening with a two-hour set on his old-school three-deck vinyl rig, followed by a full-throttle headline performance from the Braintree electronic veterans.
Kicking off at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on 15th April and wrapping up in Dublin on 28th April, the tour spans ten cities, including a two-night run at London’s Wembley Arena. It comes just ahead of the band’s return to Glastonbury this weekend, where they’ll close The Other Stage on Sunday night. It’ll be their first time at Worthy Farm since 2009, having pulled out of their planned 2019 appearance following the death of frontman Keith Flint.
With a legacy that includes seven UK number one albums and decades of genre-defining chaos, the tour is being pitched as a “straight up ruckus” – a phrase that could just as easily describe any Prodigy gig since the early ’90s. “We’re bringin back that full experience of non-stop noise and beats from doors to getting chucked out,” said Liam Howlett. “It will be that full Prodigy ruckus as it was then and how it continues to be now… and droppin’ new tunes for the people. We’ve got our old friend Carl joining us so expect full attack mode, factor 9… Let’s go.”
Carl Cox added: “They knew me back when I was out playing three turntables, and the music I was playing was hardcore rave. That’s what I’m going to be doing again – playing that sound and into the new skool. I’m really looking forward to it. Carl Cox and The Prodigy, back again to rip up the dance floors.”
The tour announcement follows a string of 2024 festival appearances for The Prodigy, including Coachella and Summer Sonic in Tokyo. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday 27th June via theprodigy.com.
