Father John Misty is making waves again with the announcement of his new album Mahashmashana, set for release on 22nd November via Bella Union. The eight-track album will feature 50 minutes of fresh music, co-produced by Misty himself alongside Drew Erickson, with Jonathan Wilson on board as executive producer.
Fans can get a taste of what’s to come with the new single ‘Screamland’, a seven-minute sonic journey featuring none other than Alan Sparhawk of Low on guitar. The accompanying video, directed by Estefania Kröl, takes us deep into ‘Screamland’. “The video is a visual journey through the depths of ‘Screamland,’ capturing the essence of both the music and the artists,” Kröl explains.
