Interpol and Bloc Party have announced a massive joint tour for 2026, bringing two of the most influential guitar bands of the 21st century back together for 18 UK and European dates.

The co-headline run begins in Copenhagen on 10th November and hits Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam before landing in the UK. The first British stop is Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 20th November, followed by Cardiff, Sheffield, Dublin and Glasgow. The tour closes with two huge nights at London’s Olympia on 4th and 5th December.

The shows will see both bands perform material spanning two decades, from Bloc Party’s Silent Alarm and Interpol’s Antics to newer cuts that have shaped their live sound in recent years. Fans who sign up to the mailing lists will get early access to tickets from 9am on Wednesday 5th November, before general sale opens at 9am on Friday 7th November.

The two bands first toured the UK together in 2004 and reunited for a co-headline run in Australia in 2023. This time, they’re bringing the partnership home.

Interpol will also return to Coachella in 2026, alongside South American dates with Deftones at Lollapalooza in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. They’re currently at work on new material due later next year.

Formed in New York at the turn of the millennium, Interpol’s brooding post-punk sound helped define an era. Fronted by Paul Banks, they became a key part of the early-2000s alternative landscape with Turn on the Bright Lights, which Pitchfork named its first-ever Album of the Year. Over seven albums, the band have sold more than 2.5 million records and played stages from Madison Square Garden to Mexico City’s Zócalo.

Bloc Party emerged around the same time, reshaping British indie with their mix of jagged guitars and restless rhythm. Led by Kele Okereke, their 2005 debut Silent Alarm remains one of the defining records of its era. The band have kept moving ever since, experimenting with electronic textures on albums like Intimacy and Alpha Games, while celebrating their roots with last year’s 20th anniversary show at Crystal Palace Park.

Tickets for all Interpol and Bloc Party co-headline dates go on sale Friday 7th November at 9am. Info and tickets here.
