King Gizzard announce orchestral and rave UK/EU tour

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announce orchestral and rave shows across Europe, including a Royal Albert Hall performance with The Covent Garden Sinfonia.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced a run of UK and EU shows for later this year, switching between two distinct live formats: orchestral performances and full-blown electronic rave sets.

The Melbourne psych-rock outfit will bring their 2025 Phantom Island Orchestral Tour to London’s Royal Albert Hall on 4th November, performing alongside The Covent Garden Sinfonia. Other European dates will feature different local orchestras, including L’Orchestre Lamoureux in Paris and The Baltic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Gdansk.

Between those orchestral dates, the band will also play a string of more frenetic, synth-heavy sets inspired by their 2023 album The Silver Cord, leaning into modular electronics and improvisation. Rave shows include a two-night run at Electric Brixton and a stop at Manchester’s Aviva Studios.

Tracks from their forthcoming album Phantom Island are expected to feature across the tour.
