
The rapper and BBC Radio 1Xtra host, 34, was arrested by police shortly after 5am on Saturday.
Sky reports that two 27 year-old women were taken to hospital and have since been discharged.
Birmingham native Lady Leshurr, who’s real name is Melesha O’Garro, was charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Another woman, Sherelle Smith, 28, was charged with one count.
Both are due to appear at London’s Thames Magistrates’ Court later today (October 24).
Since December 2020, Lady Leshurr has hosted a weekly show on Saturdays on BBC Radio 1Xtra. She reached the semi-finals of Dancing On Ice, and is also known for her Queen’s Speech series of freestyles on YouTube. Other performances include appearances at Glastonbury and the Proms.
