Lykke Li has shared her new single ‘Sick Of Love’, offering another glimpse into her upcoming album The Afterparty.

The Swedish artist returns with a track that leans into vulnerability, with Lykke Li Sick Of Love built around a spacious, immersive arrangement that foregrounds her voice. It’s a piece that balances fragility with control, tracing the emotional aftermath of heartbreak.

Set for release on 8th May, The Afterparty has been written and executive produced by Lykke Li, with sessions split between Los Angeles and Stockholm. Longtime collaborator Björn Yttling returns, continuing a creative partnership that has shaped much of her recent work.

On ‘Sick Of Love’, that dynamic results in a broad, textured sound, one that allows moments of tension to surface without overwhelming the track’s core restraint.

“It’s this moment of complete humiliation, and you’re trying to be strong,” Li says. “I had a lot of fun writing these lyrics. I laughed a lot.”

Sick Of Love is out now, with The Afterparty arriving on 8th May.
