Mabel is making waves again with her latest single, ‘Female Intuition’. After kicking off 2024 with a bang, dropping singles like ‘Zero’ and the infectious ‘Vitamins’, followed by a collaboration with Shygirl on ‘Look At My Body Pt. II’, Mabel shows no signs of slowing down.
‘Female Intuition’ is an empowering anthem celebrating the inner strength and wisdom that women share. Mabel’s lyrics are both uplifting and poignant, showcasing her vocal talents with a soaring delivery that hits all the right notes.
Reflecting on the song, Mabel says, “‘Female Intuition’ is about how I’ve learned to trust my instincts. In every aspect of my life my female intuition is my compass and I’m so grateful for that. This track is also a celebration of all the amazing women in my life that have taught me to be strong. I dedicate this one to all the mothers, the aunties and sisters that guide and protect.”
The music video, crafted by Mabel and Simone Beyene, is a visual treat. It cleverly references the iconic opening sequence of Goldfinger and features voice cameos from some of the most important women in Mabel’s life, including her mother Neneh Cherry and her cousin Miquita Oliver. This personal touch adds an extra layer of depth to an already impactful track.
With ‘Female Intuition’, Mabel continues to cement her place in the pop music scene, bringing her unique voice and perspective to the forefront. This single is more than just a song; it’s a celebration of female empowerment and the strength of intuition.
