Maribou State have been announced as the first headliners for next year’s LIDO Festival, set to take place in London’s Victoria Park on 20th June 2026. The booking marks the Hertfordshire duo’s biggest London show to date, following a milestone year that included a sold-out performance at Alexandra Palace.

The pair – Chris Davids and Liam Ivory – said in a joint statement: “We’ve made some of our best memories touring in London, from our first ever show at Oslo through to playing Alexandra Palace earlier this year. We’re over the moon to announce our biggest show yet in the city next summer, alongside a line-up of some of our favourite artists. This is going to be special. See you all next June.”

LIDO Festival launched in 2024 with headline performances from Massive Attack, Jamie xx, Charli XCX and London Grammar, positioning itself as one of the UK’s most distinctive new city festivals. It quickly became known for its carefully curated programming and sustainable approach to large-scale events.

Maribou State’s rise from bedroom producers to international touring artists has been quietly impressive. Known for their lush, textured sound that merges organic instrumentation with detailed electronic production, they’ve built a devoted following through acclaimed releases like Portraits and Kingdoms in Colour. Their recent live performances have expanded that vision, translating their studio precision into immersive, multi-instrumental sets.

While no further acts have been announced yet, LIDO’s organisers promise a line-up of “genre-crossing innovators” and several exclusive UK festival appearances. Artist presale begins Wednesday 22nd October at 10am, followed by the Tower Hamlets resident presale on Thursday 23rd and general sale on Friday 24th.

LIDO Festival 2026 takes place 20th-21st June at Victoria Park, London.
