Muse Group, the global team behind Ultimate Guitar, Audacity, and MuseScore, has announced an exclusive partnership with Overtune, a rising star in intuitive music creation. The collaboration brings Overtune’s new browser-based music editing tool directly to MuseHub, Muse Group’s creative platform and plugin store.
The goal? To make music production feel less like a technical hurdle and more like an open playground.
Overtune’s new web app is built for simplicity without sacrificing creative power. With features like beat pack blending, allowing users to mix and match beat packs on the fly: creators can shape their sound with flexibility and speed, no matter their experience level.

It marks a major expansion for Overtune, which first launched as an iOS app. The web-based version will now live exclusively inside MuseHub, which acts as Muse Group’s central hub for discovering and downloading music-making tools, plugins, and sound libraries.
“We believe MuseHub is well-tailored for our target audience: musically curious creators,” said Sigurður Ásgeir Árnason, CEO of Overtune. “We find their traction and vision compelling and closely aligned with our philosophy.”
“At Muse Group, we’re committed to providing musicians of all levels with tools that inspire creativity,” added Khaled Said, Head of Product & Partnerships at MuseHub. “Overtune’s approach to music creation aligns perfectly with our mission, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to MuseHub.”
The web version of Overtune is now available exclusively via MuseHub.
