Oasis have shared the first teaser for Don’t Look Back In Anger, the documentary of their Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, opening in select IMAX and cinemas worldwide on 11th September before streaming on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu and Disney+ in the US later in the year.
The film, a Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision production presented by Disney+, was created and produced by Steven Knight, the BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer behind Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows, and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, whose previous documentary credits include Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me In The Bathroom. The IMAX audio mix was handled by Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers, aiming to place audiences inside the experience of a stadium show.
The 46-second teaser opens with the doubt that made the reunion so unlikely. “I just don’t see myself on stage with Liam,” Noel Gallagher says in rehearsal footage. “I just don’t see it.” Liam follows: “The way it finished… unacceptable.” The two brothers then appear in what will be their first joint interview in more than 20 years. The film promises unprecedented backstage and rehearsal access alongside the performance footage from the tour itself, which opened at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium exactly one year ago today and went on to sell out stadiums worldwide.
“The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation,” Knight has said. “Don’t Look Back In Anger is not only your ticket to the show. It’s a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was.”
Liam Gallagher has repeatedly suggested the tour will extend into 2027, telling Italian fans the band will perform in Rome. Noel was reported to be back in the recording studio earlier this year, though whether for new Oasis material or a solo project remains unknown.
