Official afterparty announced for LCD Soundsystem’s All Points East

If you’re worried about going straight home after dancing yourself clean to LCD Soundsystem’s forthcoming All Points East, then fear not: the official afterparty has been announced, and it’s just a stone’s throw away.

James Murphy and co. are set to take over east London’s Victoria Park on Friday, 23 August, with an ensemble of star-studded guests.

On the lineup throughout the day of their headline APE show will be enigmatic producer Jai Paul, legendary alt-rockers Pixies, electronic artist Floating Points and Mercury-nominated duo Jockstrap.

Joy (Anonymous), The Kills, and NewDad are also among the lineup.

These names alone give enough reason for you to grab tickets – which there’s still time to do via the All Points East site.

And now the official afterparty has been announced too, with the proceedings following on down to nearby Moth Club for an afters from 10pm till 3am.

On the lineup for the event will be a live set from Mermaid Chunky, dub-happy DJs Idjut Boys (Dan Tyler and Conrad McDonnell) and DJs from DFA Records.

Tickets will be available to All Points East ticket holders on a priority pre-sale basis from 6pm on Monday, 12 August before general on-sale begins from 6pm on Tuesday, 13 August.

LCD Soundsystem’s All Points East is one of a number of impeccably-curated shows set to hit the outdoors Victoria Park venue later this month, with headline sets also coming from Kaytranada, Loyle Carner, Mitski, and The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie.
