Orlando Weeks is hitting the road again with his latest UK headline tour, set to start this September. The former Maccabees frontman, now a celebrated solo artist, will be showcasing his newest album, LOJA, across eight cities.

Following a trio of sold-out shows at the Copeland Gallery, where he blended live performances with art exhibitions, Weeks is bringing his music to a wider audience. The tour kicks off on 24th September in Newcastle and wraps up on 4th October in Brighton, with a notable stop at the Islington Assembly Hall in London on 3rd October. Tickets go on sale at 10 am this Friday, 12th July, at orlandoweeks.co.uk.

Weeks shares his excitement about the tour, stating, “LOJA has been out for a few weeks now and after the joy and privilege of the Copeland Gallery residency, I’m very excited to be taking LOJA’s music on the road. I’ll also be playing songs from all sorts of long-ago and not so long-ago chapters. Can’t wait.”

The tour dates are as follows:

September 24th – Newcastle, The Cluny
25th – Manchester, Band on the Wall
26th – Norwich, Arts Centre
27th – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
28th – Bristol, Thekla

October 2nd – Southampton, Papillon
3rd – London, Islington Assembly Hall
4th – Brighton, St. George’s Church

Orlando’s album, LOJA, reflects his personal journey after moving from London to Lisbon. The album is filled with themes of reflection, optimism, and finding one’s place. Weeks collaborated with several musicians and producers, including Sergio Maschetzko and Nathan Jenkins, to bring this project to life. The album’s lead single, ‘Dig’, featuring Rhian Teasdale of Wet Leg, even made it to the 6 Music playlist.

LOJA is available for streaming, and fans can also purchase signed transparent green vinyl, black vinyl, and CDs from Orlando’s official store, with physical formats releasing on 23rd August.
