Oscar Jerome’s back, dropping his new single ‘Desert Belly’ and announcing an extensive 2025 UK and European tour. With stops in iconic venues like London’s SCALA and Berlin’s Berghain Kantine, the guitarist, songwriter, and producer is set to take his transformative new sound on the road.

‘Desert Belly’ offers a glimpse into a fresh creative direction for Jerome. Speaking about the track, he said: “It started off from me sampling the audio from a video of myself playing that I posted on Instagram. Something about the roomy guitar sound felt very nostalgic to me. I wrote the lyrics while looking at a tiny flower growing out of a plant pot in my garden. It was the first early sign of spring after a pretty depressing winter.”

The single combines Jerome’s lyrical guitar work with sci-fi-inspired synths, capturing a unique blend of introspection and interstellar wanderlust. Fans may hear echoes of his celebrated The Spoon album, but ‘Desert Belly’ clearly signals a bold new chapter.

To mark this creative evolution, Jerome’s upcoming tour will be his most extensive to date, spanning 22 cities across the UK and Europe. Highlights include Manchester’s Band on the Wall, Glasgow’s King Tut’s, and international stops in Paris, Lisbon, and Milan.

This announcement follows a sold-out show at London’s 100 Club and a standout set at the Brick Lane Jazz Festival earlier this year, cementing Jerome’s reputation as a dynamic live performer. Tickets for the 2025 tour are on sale now.
