Phoebe Bridgers has shared ‘Lost Boy (Acoustic)’, the first material from her forthcoming third album Lost Weekend, due 14th August via Dead Oceans, following two unannounced performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week.

The appearances were deliberately contrasted. Night one saw Bridgers perform the full band version of ‘Lost Boy’ backed entirely by musicians aged between 8 and 14. Night two featured the acoustic version, performed with veteran musicians. The acoustic take is now available on streaming.

The Tonight Show performances mark the first official release of any Lost Weekend material beyond the brief teasers glimpsed at her series of pop-up shows earlier this year, which culminated with a sold-out night at Madison Square Garden in May.

Ahead of the album’s 14th August release, Bridgers and Dead Oceans have announced more than 300 global midnight release parties for 13th August, giving fans around the world the chance to experience the record together at the moment it drops. Details are available at phoebebridgers.lnk.to/midnight-parties.

The Lost Tour, her first-ever arena run, is sold out across all North American and most European dates.
