Pitchfork Music Festival London 2026 announces first lineup with The Avalanches, Tortoise and Jacob Alon

Pitchfork Music Festival London returns for its sixth edition with The Avalanches at the Roundhouse, a rare Olof Dreijer solo show and a Dalston Takeover featuring Working Men's Club. The first wave of names is already one of the autumn's most compelling lineups.

Pitchfork Music Festival London has announced the first wave of artists for its sixth edition, running across London from 2nd to 8th November 2026.

The festival, presented in partnership between FORM and Pitchfork, takes over some of the capital’s finest independent venues for a week of shows, including the Roundhouse, Royal Festival Hall, KOKO, ICA, Village Underground, Hackney Church, EartH and The Cause, among others. The 2025 edition, which was the festival’s fifth anniversary year, welcomed 20,000 people across the week, with Laurie Anderson, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Oklou, Nicolas Jaar and Ali Sethi among its performers.

The 2026 first wave is equally strong. The Avalanches, who have just returned with two new singles for what appears to be an incoming album, will play the Roundhouse and host a separate Avalanches & Friends show. Seminal Chicago post-rock group Tortoise appear, alongside BRIT-winning Scottish songwriter Jacob Alon, politically engaged Chicago rapper Noname, The Knife’s Olof Dreijer in a rare solo appearance, and UK electronic producer Actress. The Radio Dept., Hania Rani, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Mandy, Indiana, keiyaA, Kiwi Jr., ear and Los Thuthanaka are also confirmed in this first wave.

7th November sees a dedicated Dalston Takeover, with Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Mandy, Indiana, Working Men’s Club and Freak Slug playing across venues in Dalston. More artists are still to be announced.

Tickets are on sale now.
