Rachel Chinouriri has shared new single ‘Broken Chair’, the third preview of her sophomore album, I Think I Spoke Too Soon, out October 16th.

Written in Los Angeles, the track situates the listener in the throes of a night out, turning a moment of introspection into something deeply revelatory, and continues Chinouriri’s exploration of the trials of her mid-twenties. She shared the songwriting process with fellow musician Lucy Dacus, saying that as she worked through realisations about drinking and partying, Dacus “almost reassured me that I am more than enough just being who I am.”

The single follows a whirlwind summer for Chinouriri, including headline shows across New York, Los Angeles and Paris, and an appearance at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival. She’ll next support Gracie Abrams on her North American tour, before a run of UK in-store shows next month to celebrate the album’s release.

I Think I Spoke Too Soon is out October 16th.
