Roskilde Festival confirms full 2025 lineup with 185 acts from 45 countries

Roskilde Festival has revealed the full lineup for its 2025 edition, adding 14 new names to a bill that already includes Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo, Stormzy, Nine Inch Nails, FKA Twigs, Tyla, and Arca.

The newly announced acts include Danish noise-pop icons The Raveonettes, Brazilian singer and actor Seu Jorge, UK rising star Rachel Chinouriri, and the soul duo MRCY.

Experimental composer Astrid Sonne will also debut a new, festival-specific live show, while Danish rap duo Kenny – made up of Gilli and Benny Jamz – will perform their chart-topping collaboration live for the first time.

In total, Roskilde’s 2025 programme features 185 acts from 45 countries. As ever, the festival mixes blockbuster names with emerging voices and top talent from around the globe. 2025’s lineup’s got everything from the throaty metal of The Hu to highlife rhythms courtesy of Ghana’s Kwashibu Area Band, and punk-cumbia hybrids from Argentina’s Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso.

The festival runs from 28th June to 5th July, with headline performances beginning on the 2nd. Ticket holders can now access the full day-by-day schedule.

Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, Roskilde’s Head of Music, called this year’s curation “a reflection of the energy, creativity, and global spirit that make Roskilde Festival one of the most vital festivals anywhere,” adding that it offers “a window into the sounds, trends, and expression that will shape our future.” Big words.

Held just 25 minutes from central Copenhagen, Roskilde remains one of Europe’s most unique music events – not only for its scale and scope but for its not-for-profit model. Since 1972, the festival has raised the equivalent of over $49 million for cultural and humanitarian work, powered each year by a volunteer force of over 30,000 people.

Tickets are already selling fast, with several one- and two-day passes now sold out.
