SON Estrella Galicia announces free summer concert series at Sebright Arms with Ladylike, Insider Trading and English Garden

SON Estrella Galicia has announced three free shows at London’s Sebright Arms in Hackney this June and July, featuring Brighton folk-post-rock quartet Ladylike, Edinburgh shoegazers Insider Trading and London art-punk rising act English Garden. All tickets are available free via DICE.

The summer series continues four years of SON Estrella Galicia’s support for independent venues and artists around Hackney. Past shows under the initiative have featured Gurriers, Dream Wife, Swim Deep, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Big Special, Courting and The New Eves, among others.

Ladylike headline the opening night on 18th June. The Brighton four-piece draw comparisons to Big Thief and Caroline in their approach to dynamics, building gossamer connections between folk and post-rock. Insider Trading headline 30th June, supported by Newbuild and Houndshark: the Edinburgh band blend post-punk aesthetics and post-rock structures with shoegaze textures and slowcore elements, producing tracks of considerable depth and patience. English Garden close the series on 2nd July, their taut post-punk and arch art-pop placing them firmly in the tradition of classic British guitar bands.

The three shows preview SON Estrella Galicia’s headline event of the year, Soundhood Hackney 2026, a multi-venue festival taking place across Hackney this autumn.
