The 1975 turn ten next month, and they’ve announced that their self-titled debut album will be reissued on vinyl for its 10th anniversary and confirming accompanying merch bundles.
The gear will be available to purchase from 1 September, alongside a range of their classic merch. Check it out here. Fans will be able to purchase the debut album in various new limited edition formats, including a 4LP delux vinyl containing the The 1975 album, plus their early EPs Facedown, Sex, Music For Cars, and IV. In addition, there’s a solid white vinyl release in a gatefold sleeve, a limited edition white cassette and a 2CD set containing the original album and a live album of The 1975 played in full at Gorilla in Manchester earlier this year (which we went to, see below).

Released on September 1, 2013, The 1975’s self-titled album featured songs including ‘Chocolate’, ‘Sex’, ‘Girls’ and ‘Robbers’ and topped the charts on its release.

The band will headline Reading and Leeds later this month, where they’re set to play their debut album in full. They came in to replace Lewis Capaldi, who announced he was taking a break from playing live following his Glastonbury performance, in order to focus on his mental and physical health. The 1975 headlined last year Reading and Leeds festival alongside Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion, Dave, and Bring Me The Horizon (who also headlined this year’s Download Festival). Band frontman Matty Healy was recently 'called out’ by Rina Sawayama at Glastonbury for microaggressions.
