The Clause are about to hit the road for their biggest British tour yet, just in time for the release of their highly anticipated debut album, Victim of a Casual Thing.
The album’s set to drop on 17th October, with the band kicking off their headline tour shortly after, bringing their unique mix of ’60s nostalgia, ’80s grooves, and ’90s attitude to fans across Britain this winter.
Pre-sale tickets for the tour go live on Wednesday, 14th May, with the general sale starting on Friday, 16th May. The tour will culminate in the band’s biggest headline show to date at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on 19th December, with tickets for this sold-out pre-sale already flying off the shelves.
The band’s new single, ‘Nothing’s As It Seems’, sets the tone for what promised to be an electrifying debut album. According to lead singer Pearce Macca, the track’s a rallying cry for rebellion and hope, reflecting the turmoil of trying to hold onto fading dreams in a world that never stops.
“This record is soaked in the culture of growing up in the UK,” Pearce explains. “It’s the sound of feeling lost and insignificant, and the fight to rise above it.”
The tour follows a packed summer festival schedule, including appearances at Neighbourhood Weekender, Isle of Wight Festival, and Tramlines. The Clause will also support The Enemy in Coventry on 14th November before continuing their headline dates in December.
Fans can pre-order Victim of a Casual Thing now on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital. Like Sam Fender? The Killers? The Strokes. The Clause are your new favourite band.
