The Last Dinner Party have unveiled new single ‘Let’s Do It Again’, their contribution to the forthcoming War Child compilation HELP (2).
Set for release on 6th March 2026, HELP (2) follows in the lineage of the original 1995 project, bringing together a broad coalition of artists in support of War Child. The new edition has already been previewed by ‘Opening Night’ from Arctic Monkeys and ‘Flags’, a collaboration between Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten and Kae Tempest.
‘Let’s Do It Again’ finds The Last Dinner Party leaning into the theatrical sweep that has defined their rise. Recorded at Angel Studios and produced by James Ford alongside Animesh Ravel, the track balances live-wire exuberance with a controlled studio precision. The rhythm section propels it forward, while the vocal delivery captures a tension between defiance and surrender.
Lyrically, the song circles the push and pull of a relationship that refuses to stay buried. “It’s such an honour to be included on this record for a cause that is so close to our hearts,” the band say. “The song is about the endless carousel of being in a relationship you know you shouldn’t be in, but giving in to the inexorable tug of returning every time you leave.”
The release continues a period of momentum for the group, whose ascent has been marked by major award recognition and increasingly expansive live shows. Here, though, the focus sharpens around purpose. HELP (2) places their flair in service of a wider cause, reconnecting British guitar music with a long-standing charitable tradition.
‘Let’s Do It Again’ is available now, with HELP (2) landing on 6th March 2026.
