The Maccabees have added CMAT, Black Country, New Road and more to their All Points East show on 24th August.

The Maccabees All Points East

Ahead of their headline set at All Points East on Sunday 24th August 2025, The Maccabees have announced a second wave of artists joining the bill.

The London band, reuniting for one of their first shows in eight years, will be joined by CMAT, Black Country, New Road, Everything Everything, Sorry, Katy J Pearson, Youth Lagoon, TTSSFU, Max Baby and The Juice.

The announcement adds further momentum to what is already a significant moment for The Maccabees. Their return coincides with the tenth anniversay of Marks to Prove It, their fourth and final studio album, and follows a string of strong additions to the All Points East programme, including Bombay Bicycle Club, Dry Cleaning, The Cribs and Nilüfer Yanya.

CMAT, the irreverent Irish pop songwriter behind If My Wife New I’d Be Dead and Crazymad, For Me, continues her prolific rise. With her third album, EURO-COUNTRY, due on 29th August, she recently shared its second single ‘Take A Sexy Picture Of Me’ and joked about being “once, twice, three times a loser” at this year’s BRITs, Mercury and Ivor Novello awards.

Black Country, New Road join the line-up fresh off the back of Forever Howlong, their third album and first to feature shared vocals from Georgia Ellery, Tyler Hyde and May Kershaw. Their acclaim has only grown since 2021’s For the first time and 2022’s Ants From Up There, and they recently supported Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on tour.

Everything Everything bring their usual mix of conceptual pop and sonic complexity, bolstered by last year’s Mountainhead. Sorry, meanwhile, continue to blur genre boundaries with their post-punk and trip-hop infused sound, as heard on debut 925.

Other names include Katy J Pearson, known for her Americana-leaning indie; Youth Lagoon, the dreamy project of American songwriter Trevor Powers; Manchester shoegaze artist TTSSFU; and Max Baby, a French newcomer merging rock nostalgia with digital textures. Rounding out the latest announcement are The Juice, a North West band with Beatles and Strokes influences.
