Thundercat has confirmed a 2026 UK and Ireland headline tour and shared two new singles.
The West Coast musician has long blurred the lines between jazz, hip-hop, funk and electronics, establishing himself as one of the most distinctive figures in modern music. Now he returns with news of a major run of live shows next spring, beginning with London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 25th March. The tour will then visit Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol, Edinburgh and Dublin.
To mark the announcement, Thundercat has also unveiled two new songs. ‘I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time’ drifts between poignant alt-soul and hazy synth textures, while ‘Children Of The Baked Potato’ embraces his playful side, featuring a surreal collaboration with Remi Wolf.
“She’s a child of the Baked Potato like me,” Thundercat explains. “She knew exactly what the song needed. And it was wild to watch her make it happen. The more I listen to the song, it’s clear there was no one better I could have picked.”
