London’s favourite genre-blending mischief-makers, Warmduscher, are back with their latest track ‘Cleopatras’, featuring CouCou Chloe. The song is taken from their upcoming album Too Cold To Hold, due for release on 15th November 2024 via Strap Originals. The album promises to be their most eclectic yet, featuring guest spots from the likes of Irvine Welsh, Lianne La Havas, Jeshi, and Janet Planet of Confidence Man.

Driven by a quirky dancehall rhythm and their signature sonic experimentation, frontman Clams Baker Jr. explains the inspiration behind ‘Cleopatras’:
“Beneath the surface of Willesden Junction, energy-siphoning aliens convene at Cleopatra’s. Here, they conduct social experiments on the heart of the city, manipulating its inhabitants and feeding off their vitality, all in pursuit of stardom.”

The track’s video, directed by Penelope Whitehouse, brings this wild concept to life. Whitehouse says, “This song is about ‘energy vampires’ and the creative process, trying to create something real and original in a world that is draining you. In our story, energy vampires are real creatures that feed on starlight, but having drained every star, they fall to earth and start feeding on people’s energy instead.”

With Too Cold To Hold, Warmduscher are going bigger and bolder than ever, incorporating everything from gqom grooves to jazz influences, all while keeping their signature punk-funk chaos front and centre. Produced by the band’s Ben Romans Hopcraft alongside Jamie Neville, the album promises to be a wild ride from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a live fix, Warmduscher have just announced support acts for their upcoming UK headline tour, including Hot Wax, KEG, Wu-Lu, and Jeanie and the Whiteboys. They’ll be hitting stages across the UK and Europe, with their biggest-ever London show at The Troxy on 29th November. Expect an unforgettable, party-fuelled experience.
