French singer-songwriter Zaho de Sagazan continues her rapid ascent with the announcement of La symphonie des éclairs (Le dernier des voyages), an expanded edition of her critically acclaimed debut album La symphonie des éclairs.

The album, which is set to be released on 25th October, includes seven previously unreleased tracks, further showcasing Zaho’s unique blend of dark electronica and French chanson. Alongside this announcement, Zaho has released a new single, Ô Travers, a bold and reflective track that embraces flaws and imperfections, and it’s already creating a buzz.

Zaho has had a whirlwind year, with her debut album going platinum in France and earning her four major French Music Awards, including Album of the Year. She’s also dominated live stages with 116 sold-out shows in 2023 alone, including a standout performance at London’s Kentish Town Forum, which sold out in advance of her upcoming show there on 21st October. Zaho also made her mark on the international stage, soundtracking the Louis Vuitton SS24 show and performing at some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the Cannes Film Festival and the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The expanded album features standout tracks like Ô Travers, the sultry techno anthem ‘Hab Sex’, and the emotional ‘Dernier des voyages’, which has become a fan favourite at her live shows. It’s a mix of the intimate and the explosive, combining the emotive storytelling of classic French chanson with the brooding energy of modern electronic music.

Zaho’s rise has been nothing short of spectacular. Her voice, which she once felt self-conscious about, has now become her defining feature. “It made me self-conscious because many things about me were the opposite of the feminine and I couldn’t hide my voice,” she admits. But it’s this very voice that sets her apart, cutting through with raw emotion.

La symphonie des éclairs (Le dernier des voyages) is a statement of where Zaho has been and where she’s headed. Fans of her unique fusion of dark electronica and introspective songwriting are in for a treat with this expanded release.
