HBO’s wildly popular drama Succession will be back on our screens from 27 March. Night owls can watch the weekly episodes at the same time as the US at 2am but you can also catch all the action each Monday at 9pm on Sky Atlantic. After an explosive season 3, which left the Roy family scattered and divided even, we’re heading into an intriguing new season of power dynamics. Check out the teaser trailer below. The official synopsis for the season reads: “In series 4, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.” Skarsgård is a fascinating addition to the cast, including Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook. Nicholas Braun has been a long-standing fan favourite as Cousin Greg, the bumbling cousin who somehow has managed to navigate the power struggles within the Roy family with relative ease. Succession, created by Jesse Armstrong and executive produced by Adam McKay won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe in 2022 for Best Drama and has a long list of accolades. Season 4, if it’s as tense as the trailer suggests, will undoubtedly only add to that list.
Succession is available exclusively from 27 March on Sky Atlantic and NOW
