The Kooks have announced a run of outdoor UK shows for summer 2026, celebrating 20 years since their debut album Inside In/Inside Out.
The record, which included the hits ‘Naïve’, ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’ and ‘Seaside’, sold over two million copies and became one of the defining releases of the 2000s.
The new dates will see the band play Delamere Forest in Northwich on 17th June, Scarborough Open Air Theatre on 18th June, The Piece Hall in Halifax on 19th June, and Bristol Sounds at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre on 23rd June. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 31st October via thekooks.com.
The shows follow a major arena tour earlier this year, including a sold-out night at Manchester’s Co-op Live and a headline performance at London’s O2 Arena. The Guardian described the tour as a “triumphant and touching mass singalong”.

In May, The Kooks released their seventh album Never/Know, which reached number five in the UK album chart, their highest position since 2008. The record was led by singles including ‘Sunny Baby’, featured in The Times’ “Best new songs” roundup, and earned praise from outlets such as 1883 and NME, which called it “the new era of The Kooks”.
The band’s continued success has seen them reconnect with a younger audience while keeping their early fans close. At this summer’s Reading Festival, they drew one of the weekend’s biggest crowds, joined onstage by actor Rebel Wilson for a surprise performance of ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’.
Speaking about the band’s longevity, frontman Luke Pritchard recently said that Inside In/Inside Out still defines what The Kooks do best: accessible, melodic British pop that cuts across generations. Two decades on, those same songs have found new life online, helping the band to a second wave of popularity among Gen Z listeners.
