BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 nominations revealed, with Drake and Ye leading the way

Drake leads the way at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards with 14 nominations, followed by Kanye West on ten.

BET Awards Kanye West and Drake

Both Ye and Drake are in the running for the coveted Artist Of The Year as the BET Hip Hop Awards returns for its 17th edition on 4 October – following the release of their albums Certified Lover Boy and Donda last year.

Kendrick Lamar follows closely behind Ye, with nine nominations, off the back of the release of Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers earlier this year. Along with the aforementioned albums, Future’s I Never Liked You, Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry and Nas’ King’s Disease II are also up for the prestigious Hip Hop Album Of The Year.

Meanwhile, Future has eight nods, whilst Cardi B, Keem and J. Cole each have six.
