West London’s own CARI is back with a bang, dropping her latest single ‘Bleeding’. Following up on her earlier release, ‘Colder In June’, this track is the second serving of the year and is packed with raw emotion. Produced by Tendai, ‘Bleeding’ digs into the sting of love gone wrong, delivering a sharp and immersive punch.
“It’s how I rid myself of the remnant feelings I had towards my previous relationship,” says CARI. “And the last time I will ever write about it.” Ouch. She nails the messy process of trying to be the bigger person while still feeling all the feels. Lyrics like “The devil keeps trying me, he reminds me of you” are as cutting as they come.
CARI’s sound is a blend of her parents’ musical tastes—Rare Groove from her dad and RnB from her mum—and it shows. Since her debut with ‘Colder In June’ (which has already pulled in 770,000 Spotify streams), she’s been steadily building her name in the music scene.
‘Bleeding’ isn’t just another track; it’s another chapter in the world CARI’s creating—one full of heartache, growth, and brutally honest lyrics. If you haven’t jumped on the CARI train yet, now’s the time.
