Ever since the lucky people inside Hall H at this year’s Comic-Con saw the new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp, the rest of us peasants have been desperate to see it. And the Marvel gods are clearly smiling down on us today because that trailer has just appeared online. And what a trailer that is. Paul Rudd returns as Scott Lang, our Ant-Man, and is joined by Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp as well as her parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer). Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Scott’s adult daughter Cassie, who accidentally sends the entire gang to the feared quantum realm. Not only that, they’re also pitted against Jonathan Majors’ next, big MCU bad, Kang the Conqueror. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania looks like it has taken a page or two from James Gunn’s wacky Guardians of the Galaxy aesthetic book with Star Wars’ eclectic creatures thrown in for good measure. Peyton Reed returns as the director and he has gone on record to say the events of this film will change the MCU forever. You can check out the trailer below if you can pry your eyes away from the gorgeous new poster above.
