Getdown Services bring chaos home with new single ‘The Radiator’

Getdown Services return with new single ‘The Radiator’ and announce a Bristol Beacon headline show alongside 2026 tour dates.

Getdown Services

Getdown Services have shared their new single ‘The Radiator’, alongside plans for a major hometown show.

The Bristol duo return with a track that builds on their offbeat identity, pairing a driving rhythm section with a playful, confrontational edge. Getdown Services The Radiator leans into a punchy bassline and sharp percussion, recalling the mechanical pulse of Daft Punk, but filtered through a distinctly Bristol lens.

Lyrically, the band continue to embrace absurdity. Opening with the line “I bang my head on a radiator”, the track turns everyday frustration into something strangely triumphant. The duo explain:
“The sense of victory you get when you feel like you’ve physically intimidated an inanimate object into doing what you want is bizarre and pathetic and really funny.”

The release lands amid an extensive run of live activity, with Getdown Services taking their show across the UK and beyond. Highlights include a support slot with CMAT at LIDO Festival in London on 12th June, alongside appearances at Truck Festival, Boardmasters and Latitude Festival.

The band will also return to Bristol for a headline date at Bristol Beacon in January, marking a significant step up in scale for the duo.

Following a period of near-constant touring, ‘The Radiator’ feels like both a continuation and a reset, sharpening their sound while retaining the humour and unpredictability that defines them.

‘The Radiator’ is out now.
