The wait is over. Oasis have announced major 2025 tour dates.

The Gallagher brothers return: Oasis announce 2025 UK & Ireland shows, marking 30 years since their debut album.

Oasis tour announcement

Hold onto your bucket hats, folks—Oasis are back. After years of endless speculation, the legendary Britpop band has finally confirmed a string of UK and Ireland shows as part of their Oasis Live 25 world tour. These gigs will be their first on home soil in a whopping sixteen years, and if you’ve ever belted out ‘Wonderwall’ at the top of your lungs, this is the news you’ve been waiting for.

This tour, set for the summer of 2025, will see the Gallagher brothers hit major cities like Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. With no other European shows planned for next year, these dates are set to be some of the hottest tickets around. The announcement also marks thirty years since Oasis’s debut album Definitely Maybe first shook the music scene, with their sophomore effort (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? not far behind in celebrating its own milestone.

For those who’ve been living under a rock (or just born after 2000), Oasis was one of the defining bands of the 90s, giving us not only chart-topping hits but also the sibling rivalry to end all sibling rivalries. While both Liam and Noel have enjoyed successful solo careers since the band’s split in 2009—boasting ten UK #1 albums between them—there’s something about Oasis that just hits different. Maybe it’s the nostalgia, maybe it’s the chemistry that only comes when the brothers are on stage together, or maybe it’s just that there’s nothing quite like yelling “So Sally can wait!” in a crowd of thousands.

As the band put it in their typically enigmatic style, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.” Indeed, this reunion seems to be a gradual, almost inevitable coming together rather than some grand, headline-grabbing event. The timing couldn’t be better, as a whole new generation of fans—fueled by streaming platforms where Oasis still draw in 21.5 million monthly listeners—are ready to experience the magic of their live shows.

Oasis’s legend has only grown in their absence, with documentaries like Knebworth 1996 giving younger fans a taste of what they missed. Now, with the 30th Anniversary Edition of Definitely Maybe hitting the shelves, the band’s legacy is being solidified for yet another decade.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Saturday, 31st August for the UK shows, and at 8am for the Dublin dates. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newcomer to the Oasis phenomenon, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
