Picture Parlour are back with Face In The Picture, their brand-new single and video, out today. The London-based, Northern-forged four-piece has also announced an EP of the same name due on 14th June, along with an intimate EP release party at London’s Third Man Records on 18th June, which sold out this morning.
The rock group, known for their dynamic performances, burst onto the scene last year with buzzworthy shows and support slots with superstars like Bruce Springsteen and labelmates The Last Dinner Party. Following their debut singles ‘Norwegian Wood’ and ‘Judgement Day’, and a co-sign from Courtney Love, Picture Parlour are now focusing on what truly matters: their incredible music.

Singer and guitarist Katherine Parlour explained, “The face in the picture represents the haunting of the past. The song confronts turbulent relationships with the things we have seen or experienced. Our track is a portal to remind the listener that the faces, feelings, and wounds which fade as time progresses never truly leave us.”
Katherine’s background in filmmaking and the band’s passion for the cinematic worlds of David Lynch and Alejandro Jodorowsky led them to partner with sibling artist duo Will and Ed Reid on the visual concept for this single and EP. The first of four videos made for the EP is out now.
Formed by Katherine Parlour from Liverpool and guitarist Ella Risi from Yorkshire, Picture Parlour began as a duo during the pandemic, drawing inspiration from the likes of Patti Smith and Nick Cave. Now expanded to a four-piece with bassist Sian Lynch and drummer Michael Nash, Picture Parlour captivates audiences with an unforgettable live experience.

Their live shows, often compared to The Smiths and Siouxsie and the Banshees, evoke nostalgia while maintaining a contemporary edge.
