Pixies band tour 2024

Pixies have released their first new music of 2024 with the AA-side single ‘You’re So Impatient’ / ‘Que Sera, Sera’. The tracks debuted on Steve Lamacq’s BBC Radio 6 Music show, offering a macabre and cinematic take on American pop culture.

The single features the furious punk track ‘You’re So Impatient,’ described by vocalist Black Francis as “a slightly comedic suburban culture moment: there’s this guy, there’s this gal, there’s this tug-of-love dynamic going on. But the backdrop is the mall. And while the mall is crass, it’s also a very zombie, rock ‘n’ roll horror movie setting.”

The second track, a dark folk twist on the classic ‘Que Sera, Sera,’ was originally recorded for the US TV show From. A limited edition 7” single will be available on 19th July.
