Radio Free Alice have signed to Atlantic Records and shared new single ‘Lunch Money’, produced by Ewan Pearson and mixed by Peter Katis.
The Melbourne four-piece wrote the track at a Nottingham venue during their UK tour last year, frontman Noah Learmonth and the band assembled on stage in coats, scarves and gloves as the English autumn arrived. “It was one of those songs that came together pretty instantly,” Learmonth has said.
The signing and single arrive at a moment of considerable momentum. Radio Free Alice toured the UK in late summer 2025 with measured expectations, having built a following through two well-received EPs and relentless touring. What followed exceeded anything they had anticipated: six consecutive sold-out London headline shows, each packed with crowd-surfers and at least one attendee with a Radio Free Alice tattoo on his torso. Reading and Leeds booked them at short notice to an immense reception. Further sold-out dates in the US followed.
Pearson, whose credits include Foals, Confidence Man and Metronomy, and Katis, whose production history spans Interpol and The National, have both previously worked with the band. ‘Lunch Money’ is a jangled, nostalgia-fuelled piece of guitar pop, the band’s instinct for an earworm honed to its sharpest point yet.
Earlier in 2026 they joined Geese for a sold-out Australian tour. They play Governor’s Ball in New York this weekend and Reading Festival in August.
