Ted Lasso Season 3 gets first full trailer

Jason Sudeikis returns as Ted Lasso, the infectiously joyful American coach who is on a journey to take AFC Richmond from rags to riches. Check out the first trailer for the third season of the Emmy-winning AppleTV+ dramedy. 

The third season of the hit comedy-drama will consist of 12 episodes which will drop weekly starting on March 15. 

The first full trailer, following a short and sweet teaser released earlier this month, shows the entire AFC Richmond team looking pretty defeated, both on and off the pitch. Ted continues to struggle with personal issues while Juno Temple’s Keeley is trying to get used to being her own boss.

Brett Goldstein’s Roy Kent, former captain of the team, steps up as the assistant coach after Nate’s departure. I’m sure we’ll see plenty of clashes between Nate’s new team, West Ham and AFC Richmond throughout the season.  

Anthony Head joins the cast as Rupert, for whom Nate (Nick Mohammed) now works for at West Ham. 

Ted Lasso has been a hugely successful series for AppleTV+. The series has become a firm comedy favourite and has been showered with awards, including many for Jason Sudeikis for his portrayal of the titular character. 

There’s also plenty of rumours to suggest season 3 might be the last one for Ted and his team. While nothing has been confirmed, we better enjoy it while it lasts. 

Ted Lasso season 3 will stream on AppleTV+ weekly from March 15.
