Better Call Saul walked away empty-handed once again. Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad spin-off has been nominated 46 times over its six-season run, but has failed to nab any Emmys. Ted Lasso, The White Lotus and Succession were among the expected big winners of the night. Ted Lasso was named Outstanding Comedy and both Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein won their respective acting categories. Succession was named Outstanding Drama while The White Lotus clutched the Outstanding Limited Series win over Dopesick, Inventing Anna, Pam & Tommy and The Dropout. Perhaps the most surprising – and indeed deserved – win of the night was Squid Game’s Lee Jung-jae taking home Lead Actor in a Drama over Succession’s Brian Cox and Better Call Saul’s Bob Odenkirk. Squid Game’s nominations alone were historic, but a win seemed just out of their reach. The most controversial and odd moment of the night was Jimmy Kimmel laying on the floor, ‘dead’, as Abbott Elementary’s Quinta Brunson was accepting her first-ever Emmy for Writing for Comedy Series. People quickly pointed out on social media how insensitive and just plain rude this was towards Brunson.
Brunson seemed to be in good spirits, later commenting “Tomorrow maybe I’ll be mad at him.”Jimmy Kimmel owes Quinta Brunson an apology. #Emmys pic.twitter.com/EcrUtYh8Eu

Without further ado, here’s the full list of winner from last night’s Emmys:Quinta Brunson addressed Jimmy Kimmel laying on stage during her #Emmys acceptance speech: “I felt like the bit didn’t bother me that much…Tomorrow maybe I’ll be mad at him. I’m going to be on his show on Wednesday, so I might punch him in the face.” https://t.co/Bm8Bfhyi0k pic.twitter.com/cMDuZbq0AQ
