With four each, Harry Styles and Wet Leg lead the nominations for the 2023 BRIT Awards, however no women feature in Best Artist category after the Brits discarded gendered awards.
Both are nominated for the prestigious best album award, as well as Styles getting the nod for Best Artist, and Wet Leg for Best Group.
Stormzy, Cat Burns, The 1975 and the dance producer Fred Again have all received three nominations, while Sam Ryder becomes the first ever Eurovision act to be recognised in the Best Newcomer category.

American superstars Beyoncé and Taylor Swift look set to fight it out among the international artists, with Kendrick Lamar, Burna Boy and the Drake & 21 Savage duo also getting nods.
Last year, the Brit Awards made the decision to discard gendered categories, choosing instead to merge everyone into the one award. This year, no female singers have been nominated for Best Artist, with Charli XCX and Florence + The Machine among the big-name stars to have been snubbed.

Adele was the inaugural recipient of the Best Artist award, and in her acceptance speech she said: “I understand why the name of this award has changed but I really love being a woman and being a female artist!”
