Death Valley Girls announce UK tour alongside new album ‘Welcome to Earth’

'Welcome to Earth' is out October 9th, written in the aftermath of singer Bonnie Bloomgarden losing her home in the 2025 Altadena wildfires.

Death Valley Girls will release their new album, Welcome to Earth, on October 9th.

The West Coast band’s new record follows a difficult year for singer Bonnie Bloomgarden, who lost her home in Altadena, California, in last year’s wildfires, and lost her dog, Tommy, in the months that followed. The experience brought the band closer together, and shaped an album that moves freely between garage rock and space rock, resisting easy categorisation.

New single ‘Message from the Venus Flower’ is out now, drawing directly on that period of loss. Bloomgarden has said the song grew out of her connection with Tommy and a sense, arrived at gradually in the aftermath, that love endures beyond loss.

Death Valley Girls will play a full UK tour this October, including a show at London’s Lexington on October 28th.

Welcome to Earth is out October 9th.
