Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume announce new album ‘ii’

Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume will release collaborative album ‘ii’ on August 21st via Loma Vista Recordings, led by new single ‘Difference’, out now.

The two have worked together for years, but recently returned to the studio to build something more substantial than a one-off track. Blume has described their process as demanding but rewarding, saying every project the pair make starts “on opposite sides of a coin” before they work their way toward common ground.

The album arrives during a particularly active period for Curry. This year alone he’s launched new rap supergroup The Scythe, appeared at Fred again..’s large-scale New York shows, supported Deftones across a major European tour, and released collaborative single ‘Hive Mind’ with Knocked Loose.

‘ii’ is out August 21st via Loma Vista Recordings.
