Fat Dog turn a toxic relationship into stabbing synths on ‘Sh*t Love’

South London band Fat Dog have released new single ‘Sh*t Love’, the latest preview of their second album, Cancel Me (I’m Tired), due October 2nd.

The release follows a support slot for Kneecap at Crystal Palace Park, where frontman Joe Love wore an England shirt to a chorus of boos from the largely Irish crowd, dropping new material into an otherwise brash, noisy set.

Built on stabbing synths and leering post-punk riffs, ‘Sh*t Love’ looks at the darker side of a toxic relationship. Love has described the two people at its centre as “world-enders every time,” locked into a cycle of constant argument.
