Gus Dapperton will release his new album, 4 Dear Life, on October 23rd.
The New York indie pop artist follows recent single ‘Take Me Out to the Disco’ with a record whose title speaks to a modern sense of dread, Dapperton holding on amid the darkness. The album features an eclectic list of guests reflecting his mosaic-like approach to building a project, among them Ledbyher, A-Trak, Spill Tab and Hard Life, with Dapperton acting as the primary conduit pulling the ideas together.
New single ‘Queen’ is out now, taking aim at the pervasive nature of the patriarchy. Dapperton has said he’s “been so pissed off the last couple years about the state of the world,” channeling that frustration into a zesty, chaotic and addictive lead-in to the new album.
4 Dear Life is out October 23rd.
