It’s here! The first episode of Susie Dent’s brand new podcast, Having Words with Susie Dent. In the first episode, she’s joined by comedian and fellow Countdown regular Jon Richardson for this maiden voyage into the vast expanse of language.

Admittedly, they get off to a shit start, spending the first chunk of the show talking about wombat excrement (did you know they poo cubes?), before Jon supplies his most routinely used word: ‘justification’ (what he describes as ‘a small man word’).

Susie takes us through what she knows best: WORDS. In this series she speaks to friends and unlikely word obsessives about their love and deployment of words, whether it be in comedy, screenwriting, presenting or journalism.

And YOU get to take part too! Each month in ‘Susie Answers’, our host replies to questions from fans on Twitter, whilst ‘Susie’s Word of the Week’ relates to themes that have come up in conversation with her guests.

And so, without further ado, start listening right here, right now
