M1onTheBeat continues to stand out in the UK grime scene, not only as a producer of multiple big hits but also as an artist stepping into the limelight with his own mixtape.
Titled M1onTheBeat The Mixtape, it’s a lavish, 15-track showcase of his versatility, roping in the likes of M1llionz, Miraa May, Nafe Smallz, Rimzee, K-Trap, French The Kid, and a standout number with Headie One.
His focus track ‘Skinfade’ is an example of UK rap at its finest, with Headie One’s vocals adding a gritty edge.
M1onTheBeat shares his ambition behind this release: “My main aim for this tape is to put a face to my name. I feel like now is the time to introduce myself properly and this mixtape allows me to do that.
“I want to show people the depth of my beats and how much I can switch it up; you’ve got all kinds of flavours in there, not just drill. A lot of new fans have gravitated to me, so for them, it’s a chance for me to make a big statement.”
