Independent Venue Week has confirmed a run of exclusive live shows from its 2026 Artist Ambassadors, with Nova Twins, Brògeal and Eve Goodman each set to play intimate performances later this month.

Nova Twins were announced as Independent Venue Week’s Artist Ambassadors back in October, recognised for their work pushing for structural change within the music industry. In recent years, the duo have helped campaign for the introduction of an Alternative Music category at the MOBO Awards and launched the Nova Twins Creative Musicianship Scholarship at ICMP, funding three years of tuition for emerging artists.

As part of this year’s programme, Nova Twins will return to their South London roots for a one-off headline show at The Amersham Arms on Tuesday 27th January. Reflecting on the show, the band described the venue as a formative space during their teenage years, where they played some of their earliest gigs and began shaping the foundations of Nova Twins.

Scottish Artist Ambassadors Brògeal will also play two headline dates during the week, performing at MacArts in Galashiels on 30th January and The Venue in Dumfries on 31st January. Meanwhile, Welsh Ambassador Eve Goodman will perform a solo set at Caffi Isa in Mold on 26th January, alongside two previously announced appearances.

Founded in 2013, Independent Venue Week was created to encourage local support for grassroots venues and the artists who rely on them. Since its launch, the initiative has sold more than one million tickets and continues to play a key role in sustaining the UK’s independent live music circuit. In 2026, 236 venues across the country will take part, with additional performances from artists including Dove Ellis, Sorry, The Bug Club, Silver Gore and HotWax.

General tickets for all ambassador shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 9th January.
