The first Insidious film has one of the most startling, terrifying jump scares known to mankind. Arguably, the franchise went downhill after James Wan stepped down as director after Insidious 2, but it looks like we’re back in business.
Wilson is making his directorial debut with Insidious: The Red Door, which is set 10 years after the events of the first two films.

Horror experts Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan and Leigh Whannell are producing the film and Scott Teems’ script is based on Whannell’s story.
The trailer itself has a very creepy, menacing vibe. It brings back The Further, the horrid dimension Josh and Dalton found themselves in in the very first film. We simply can’t wait to see what horrors await the father-son duo in the depths of it this time.
Insidious: The Red Door is set to arrive in cinemas July 7th.
