Suki Waterhouse My Fun Faded

Suki Waterhouse, known for her acting prowess and recent role in the critically acclaimed Daisy Jones & The Six, has unveiled two new singles, ‘My Fun’ and ‘Faded’. The releases mark her latest foray into music, following the successful debut of her album I Can’t Let Go in 2022.

Despite a whirlwind 18 months, including becoming a new mother and receiving international acclaim for her acting, Waterhouse continues to explore her musical talents.

Her lead single from the previous album, ‘Moves’, gained viral popularity on TikTok, amassing over 40 million streams on Spotify. The new singles, ‘My Fun’ and ‘Faded,’ further Waterhouse’s musical exploration, blending elements of sighing psych-pop with folky undertones. Waterhouse’s distinctive vocal prowess shines through in both tracks, supported by a carefully selected ensemble that brings her vision to life.

Accompanying the singles are cut-and-paste style visuals crafted by Callum Scott-Dyson, known for his work on Iron & Wine’s ‘Anyone’s Game’ and other projects. Scott-Dyson’s vibrant and choppy stop-motion animation style, inspired by Monty Python and other iconic cut-out animators, adds a playful and engaging visual layer to Waterhouse’s music. For ‘My Fun,’ Scott-Dyson opted for super-saturated and bright visuals, while ‘Faded’ features a more washed-out aesthetic to match the songs’ differing vibes.
